RRS - Finished - Thanks to Everyone that Helped

Hi,

I have finished my RRS colour coding, well at least 4 weeks ago, but just had cleaned and thought I would take some pics..

I want to say a BIG thank you to everyone who has helped me with feedback and advice. You have all been invaluable. From what I have learnt from you guys, I have tried to help other new members in the way you did for me.

I started with this: ORIGINAL FRONT - Headlamp Protectors and Chrome Mirror Caps.... Big Cry


ORIGINAL BACK - more rear lamp protectors Big Cry


And Have Ended up with This: Ispired by Adam RRS of course

Colour Coded Rear Trim - As Tim has already pointed out, I have one too many badges and need to remove the HSE one, and replace with the TDV8 in correct position. Number plate is RRSport Type from Ebay

Looks great guys.....but think you both copied my car!!! If I can work out how to post pics on here!!! It doesn't work by the way, for me anyway!! Had my car like that for 2 years now.....although last year went for a black coded HST grill.....

Adam only thing I want to mirror what you've done is get rid of my bloody orange lamp from the headlights!!!!!

Funny thing is - I have really started to like Stornoway Grey, and love the new Ipanema..

The black in near on impossible to keep clean, and shows all the grime London traffic throws at it..

Maybe I'll save up some pennies and get a MY2010...

Still - the real reason for posting up the pics was to thank everyone who has helped me get up and going from when I got the car in January.

I mean, I would never have attempted any of this without the guides on this forum and you all supplying me with your opinions on everything from light protectors to the pros and cons of 22" wheels.

Anyways me is super happy for now, but the MY2010 is looking oh sooo good....... 57 RRS | TDV8 HSE | Java Black | Black Interior | Side Steps | 20" Alloys

Nas i must agree i too love the Ipanema nearly choose that colour the dealer had one in showroom when i ordered my my10 and i also love the stornoway think the colour really suits the rrs but i also love my bali Thumbs Up 2016 bmw x5 40d m-sport space grey

Laughing Laughing was that a joke? not sure......

I think DIESEL would have been on at the dealers rather than being a private reg....
