Hse/Se/S

Hi again everyone, Im still in the hunt for the right Range Rover Sport, I have found a nice one with the right miles but its an Se but the owner has told me its upgraded to Hse-what does this mean?
Im a gadgety person and would be rather upset if I bought this and found out a full HSE has more things.
Thanks everyone
Alex

It all depends on the year of the car. The HSE is the top spec and the SE is one step below. The HSE has more than the SE and I would doubt the owner has completely speced out the SE to full HSE spec. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

When it comes to HSE / SE / S / XS, in my humble opinion, there is no way to go except HSE! I know it costs more but I would say get an older HSE than considering an S or SE.

Just my opinion, don't shoot me. Big Cry

However, best get the details of what the seller did add to the SE. An SE with bigger wheels and an HSE badge, does not an HSE make.... 2010MY HSE 3.0 TDV6. Stornoway Grey/Ivory. Extended leather, winter pack.

Yes, but remember - Even if the previous owner has been stupid enough to pay well over the odds to spec an SE to HSE level, It is, and always will be, an SE and therefore for resale, will not have the value or desirebility of a true HSE.

There are some people out their that do this sort of thing though. I knew of a guy who owned a fish business near Inverness who bought an SE Disco brand new and paid to have almost everything fitted to bring it up to HSE spec. His reasoning was that he didn't want "folk" thinking he was too flash and he thought the SE badges didn't scream "loaded businessman" as much as the HSE Thud MY question was WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST BUY A DE-BADGED HSE YOU F Censored ING PLANK ?........
