POXYMOBILE ALERT!!!!

Sorry, not been around for ages however back in blighty, landed a cracking job with a stonking package, just a pretty poor car policy! Big Cry Now have to decide on poxymobile or opt out.

Those who know me will know why i'm erring on the safety-first aspect of company car-dom so i'm asking the great members of this great forum for their views and input.

I will put the opt out choices in another post to avoid a landslide vote in favour of opting out!!! Laughing

So, which do I go for? Please be warned that those of a nervous disposition or who are squeamish to look away now... Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Cheers Kaine Thumbs Up

I start on Monday (15th) and will be given a pool car for a few weeks whilst I decide. I have been told this will be a Scirocco (No idea which model/engine etc.)

I have a test drive booked for tomorrow (11th) in a Passat CC TDi DSG which I still think is a nice looking motor, a bit more stand out than a 3 series.

However, I had a 3(20Cd Sport Auto) before moving to Cyprus and how how good they are to drive.

JUST TEST DRIVEN A PASSAT CC

A CC GT TDi 140 DSG to be precise - what a great car!

Very Happy New Common Rail engine is so far beyond the old Pump Deuse engine in refinement, it's hard to believe they were both made by the same group.

Very Happy DSG is suuuuuper smoooooth.

Very Happy Comfortable, even on lowered suspension and 18" wheels

Very Happy Turned heads all the way along the test drive

Very Happy Very classy feeling interior

Sad Can I stretch to a GT model?

Sad Visibility slightly restricted due to coupe profile

All in all, VERY impressed Thumbs Up Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

It's not a REAL poxymobile Chris.... Whistle Laughing

Voted Scirocco - best of the bunch imho.

318i should be a manual, Volvo is a Volvo Shocked Passat will be a good car as VW, but my choice would still be the Scirocco. The 1.4 is nippy, frugal and in white looks the dogs jacobs Thumbs Up

S, i'll make my mind up on Scirocco as I believe that will be my interim pool car (Or so i've been told). The choice was the Scirocco or a Focus Exclamation

I actually emailed my boss and said "Well that's a no brainer!!!" Rolling Eyes Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad
