Is it true that if your car is a company car you are not allowed to smoke in it as it is considered to be an extension of the office?

The government are trying to completely ban all smoking on board ships, even in private cabins and regardless of the ship's home flag if it is in a UK port. Even worse is they are trying to slap a £2000 fine personally on the Captain if they find that the rule isn't enforced! It's bad enough as the owner I work for has implemented a no alcohol policy on their main fleet, happily I don't work on those ships! 3-4 months without a ciggy or a beer would be too much for many! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Company vehicles come under the act but private cars on car allowance dont. Not sure about a company car given as sole use though. It will depend on the contract but there has been prosecutions against staff in commercials that were smoking.

james, I tried finding the patch but the site told me to use the phone - a search, that way, led to nowhere but advice on how to pair not a patch. Do you know the link?

Is it a LR specific patch I need or just a phone software upgrade?
