A little more information might be use full. Do you have ACC? What kind of situations does it not work in or is it generally? From the very little info given already I would expect it's a dealer visit. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I thought you could get ACC as an optional extra on all models. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

It was never available on TDV6, but optional on the 4.4V8 SE, standard on 4.4HSE and S/C, and has always been standard on TDv8. Just looked at the specs for 2010MY 3.0ltr and it is a £1400 option - you have to really want ACC to pay that much for it! 95% of the time I love the ACC but there are times (like when it is snowing) when I wish that I could inhibit the radar bit and just have a plain Cruise control. That little warning "ACC blocked" is very frustrating when you have another 300 miles to drive and the snow isn't settling on the road but is blocking the ACC sensor 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

IIRC it doesn't work under a cetain speed - 30?? could you be around that speed when trying to set it (working when say at 35) or are you talking motorway speeds and unreliability? |

with it working then not, if your not under warranty, maybe try a new set of Cruise Control buttons, either by buying them or loaning a set from a friends D3, RRS or FL2 and seeing how they go with them as it might be a faulty button |

hi - can you update on your success? My RRS does exactly the same. On a long journey if it fails I normally have to pull over - switch off - switch on - and all is well again (I do a lot of night driving and so use cruise a lot). It would be useful to know if you find a fix to the problem. Thanks. |

HI HAS YOUR RRS HAD A Q045 THIS RESOLVES A PROBLEM WITH THE ALIGNMENT OF THE CLOCKSPRING CARTRIDGE BEHIND THE STEERING WHEEL WEARING. IF CRUISE CONTROL WORKS UNTIL A STEERING INPUT THEN IT IS CERTAIN TO BE THIS AND REQUIRE REPLACEMENT OF THE CARTRIDGE, EASY JOB FOR A DECENT TECH WITH THE AIRBAG TOOL. HOPE THIS SORTS IT OUT. STEVE. |

Very likely what Steve said. Had this on my D3. Minor issue. Visit to dealer sorted it. Every silver lining has a cloud
