Charlie,
Awesome video!! Thumbs Up Love the motor as well.

Did you have any problems fitting the winch to the SC as Land Rover say it can't be done Sad as would like to fit my SC with one.

Cheers

Guy

I can't see why LR say that - the first RRS G4 vehicles were petrol versions (not SC), the chassis is the same for all RRS and the only reason I can think of is the ACC will have to be disengaged.

Do I recall correctly that its the s/c air intake location, and that the underbody protection plate blocks it. IIRC I think there's a thread somewhere showing how someone cut small holes in the plate to allow air to get to the intake?? I think that was another US based forum member?

I could be just dreaming though....

Oman 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

Cheers VA, Rupert and 2ndRower,

I was aware of the fix for the underbody protection and LR have agreed to do that for me, however, they claim the winch/ winch mount is incompatible with an SC.... Rolling Eyes But can't tell me exactly why Exclamation

I didn't want to risk the cost of purchasing the winch etc without knowing if it'll work, now I do thanks to cplatt and will look to doing it independantly Smile Also, want to see if I can fit a different winch as the 4310kg pull is pretty weedy compared to the 3150 GVW of an RRS

Cheers

Guy
