I would think you have to put the car up on a ramp and then attach a weight to the wire to pull the kinks out while winding down the winch - it happens to all lifting wires if you don't keep some weight on them when you wind them back onto the winch. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I had this before - replaced under warranty but claim was something like you should not wind up without load on - design fault ...... |

That is what i thought - not checked the new one though when they fitted it the cable tied the cable to the eye on the tow mount - anybody receive a bag of cable ty's for this purpose |
