Iphone Cradle Mod??????

Hi All

Whilst rooting around in my mates BMW helping him to rectify a electrical fault Rolling with laughter , I noticed he has a Cradle for his IPhone which integrates it with the car stereo unit allowing complete integration, charging and use of the external aerial. Exclamation
I unclipped it and had a look , and low and behold it has the same electrical connection as my beloved Range Rover Sport Idea , as he wouldnt let me take the cradle to bits to see if it can be modified, I have ordered a new one from BMW to see if it can be altered to fit the RRS, or am I barking up the wrong Tree Question

Does any one know of any issues with the nokia cradles which are supplied from the Stealers????

Once I get the unit I will keeep you informed of the outcome, and If my Brainwave works Question Question
Ok off to the Undiscovered Country.

Colin

Which model BMW? My 2004 ZT260 has a BMW sat nav tho it says Rover on it Smile and I can get an iPod integration kit for it and it is made by the same folks that make the Landrover one. The one for the ZT allows full integration of menues etc. on the Nav screen.

No it wasn't, the D3 and RRS were both pure Ford products. There was a D3 being developed when BMW sold LR but Ford ditched it. Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate

+1
the FFRR was the only vehicle developed during the ownership - you could clearly see the links between MY02 FFRR and BMW 7 series
