So, took the plunge and bought an 08 TDV8 today. Brilliant car with great spec and although obviously different from the 997 I traded in I already think it is a great car. One noobie question though, can I open the tailgate from the inside? I've sort of read the manual and can do it from the keyfob if not in the ignition but cant find a button for when the key is in the ignition.

If I am watching the TV I don't want to have to get out of the car for the wife to put her shopping in!

Two buttons on the dashboard, one with open padlock, one with closed padlock symbol.

Press both buttons simultaneously for three seconds to release the tailgate.
