Hi I get about 11mpg around town and around 22 mpg on a run. I have to admit I don't really drive slowly. For what it is, I think the mpg is really not THAT bad.

Give the tyres a good tap with the end of your shoe, if they stay up it should be a good car. Thumbs Up

I get 15mpg around town, and 19-20mpg on a run. Averages around 17.2mpg.
Just check it sits level if left at normal height overnight (otherwise you have a sensor fault).

The main thing to watch out for are the Landrover main stealers. They'll rob you blind if you take it in for a service, and don't check everything first.
e.g.
£300(ish) for new front brake pads when the old ones aren't even half worn (common one that)
£100 (ish) for aircon "sanitisation"?!?!
£150(ish) for an engine flush, and a foul smelling oil additive (that isn't necessary, and LR actually says you shouldn't use).
Tyres that aren't worn out
Oh, and watch out for the paint-chips and kerbed wheels whilst in at the stealers!
This is before they put the wrong sort of oil in it (I might start a new thread about this one), crack the washer bottle, punctured a tyre, punctured 3 radiators, wrecked 2 rims on the tyre machine......and charged me a fortune for the privilege!

Bob.

I have to say I love my supercharger. When I took the plunge to buy it I kinda feared the worst, reliability-wise, but absolutely nothing was wrong with it on delivery and nothing has gone wrong since. I bought it new last July, so its the last of the old model, and they were just going for such a low price it seemed rude to pass up the opportunity!

I do mainly motorway miles. In the early days it steadied around 22/22mpg but it's since dropped to 20.3/20.5, I dont thrash it but neither do I dawdle.

If you dont lots of miles, the superchargers are fab. It does the same mpg as my DB9 and bearing in mind the SC weighs loads more I think thats pretty good.

Yes it'll be more difficult to sell than a diesel when the time comes but a) I paid less than I would have for a diesel and b) with fewer superchargers around all you need to do is find one punter who wants a good one and who's gonna do similar miles to me....

2005/55 SC - avg, 24mpg.
Have managed 3.1mpg though. Seems that there are quite a few RRS owners who also have AM's. (my gallery)
Suspension knocking - usual suspects. LR (or other) extended warranty essential. Ball joints. And a dealership that takes the suspension problems seriously.

mmmm. I can!
What/why - do I need to press a button for public consumption?

I did have about ten pics on it - seems that there are only four now.
One day I'm gonna work out how to do this.

Thanks RichardM - done.
Now....I uploaded some pics to my gallery - can't see them.
Is there a time delay whilst they are uploaded to server?
