2010 model, steering wheel auto position = going up with

2010 model, steering wheel auto position = going up with the driver door open but seat not moving....Isn't it suppose to move backward as well??? Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6

IIRC depends on the original setting. If your a big Censored and seat already back and low it wont move. However if you have the seat forward it moves back to let you out. Didnt realise this until I had adjusted the seat and wheel into a different position.

Now when ignition turned off and drivers door opened seat and wheel move slightly Thumbs Up MY10 TDV6 HSE, Alaska White, Ebony with Contrast, Park Heat, Paddle Shift, Privacy, Heated Steering Wheel, Extended & Premium Leather,

MY07 TDV6 HSE, Zermatt Silver, Gone

So shouldn't the setting be call 'short arse' Laughing MY10 3.0 TDV6 HSE, Zermatt Silver, 20" Diamond Turned Alloys, Factory Privacy Glass, Premium Leather, Contrast Stiching, Side Steps, Etc

Did cross my mind !

However I have raised the seat by about 1cm and the steering wheel down by about 1cm from standard and it still moves slightly as to make no real difference other than to impress the passengers when getting out Smile MY10 TDV6 HSE, Alaska White, Ebony with Contrast, Park Heat, Paddle Shift, Privacy, Heated Steering Wheel, Extended & Premium Leather,

Guess what, it may be yet another electronic glitch with the 2010s, someone flipped the wrong switch at the factory. Here is the SSM on the GTR web site, 0.2 hrs to fix excluding dildo, haha:

Issue
If the entry/ exit feature has been enabled by setting the steering column switch to the auto position when entering the vehicle and closing the door, with ignition on, the customer will note that the steering column has moved to the preset position but the seat has not and when exiting the vehicle the column will move upwards but the seat does not move down.

Cause
The seat feature has been disabled in error.

Action
This issue affects 10my Discovery 4/LR4 and Range Rover Sport vehicles between the following vin numbers

Range Rover Sport AA513326 to AA518210
Discovery 4/LR4 AA215623 to AA221673

The feature can be enable through IDS from DVD118.5 Patch 15
Set-up and configuration \\ Seats \\ Seat entry/exit enable
The SRO number is:
789105 Seat enable/disable - configuration 0.2Hr Excluding DIDO
