Could you have the left horn button normal and the right horn button musical?

Yes:

on the basis I found it concerning how
1) people could ignore a large moving vehicle
2) quiet the OEM alarm is.

I understand there is a Steubel (?sp) Nautilus which is equally audible (and fortunately not as expensive as a B&W Nautilus).

I've installed a Stebel Nautilus air horn. Compact and loud.

Now dont laugh but my mate put a set of these in the boot of his mark I escort. The reason for the boot was them being illegal and figured that "the rozzers'll NEVER think of looking there for 'em". Unfortunately being a spotty 18 yr old and not knowing ANYTHING about electrics they were wired up to a seperate switch on the dash. Just a simple spring loaded push button BUT by the time the current got from the battery in the front of the car, down through the length of the car to the boot there wasnt a great deal of voltage left so the jolly old tune that should have been played at half speed and sounded more like a funeral dirge on the bagpipes!!

Needless to say they never really got used that much................. Whistle
