Hi I just wondered why so many dealerships don't actually put the picture of the car for sale in the advert. Instead in many cases there is a mish-mash of 'digitally prepared' images. There is just something that grates me about that. I understand that they are all 'the same cars' but different colour combinations etc but it's almost as if it's too much effort. I think a well presented car with care in taking the photographs can make the difference in you going ... nice! or ... hmm just another black RRS :-I. You would expect the opposite to be true really, independant suppliers and private sales to show lack of effort.

The approved user locator has a decent set of pics for most cars for sale at franchise dealers. Obviously independents may or may not spend time and money on pics - but I agree with you, ads for anything without pics are a non-starter for me.

You aren't going to buy a car from a photo, the spec list will tell you if its the car for you, as for the condition of the vehicle seeing it in the flesh is the only way!

I think you missed the point. We are selling them before the photo's are taken and uploaded onto the system. I can only speak for us a Lookers Park Royal. If I could take professional photo's of a vehicle that I don't yet have then I would.......... honestly I would!!

I agree but given I live in Scotland and there is more choice at a greater distance, I would assess from photos as well any other information spec etc, if I should travel to the selling location or not. Kev 52 E46 M3 91 GMC Syclone 72 E10 2002 Turbo |
