Anyone had this: When closing the right hand side rear passenger window with the auto close function, the window winds up and then opens about 1/3 again. (As if it has encountered an obstruction during the close). My (business) partner told me about a week ago that his 2010 is doing this and today mine started doing it as well. Obviously it needs some adjustment, but it’s interesting that both our vehicles are doing it and the same window is involved. 2010 Sport Supercharged with all options apart from TV and Extended leather (wish I had the latter) (Previously 2007 RRS S/C) |

I thought I was imagining this but that's happned to me twice in 2 weeks...offside rear window does a stop at 3/4 up then down again (i call it a bounce) as though obstructed then up to close (sometimes with another bounce for good measure) ???? any ideas. I suppose it is just an adjustment, but I've not had the time to take the car to the dealer. (When I got the 2010, I promised myself that I will try to only take it to the dealer for any issues when its due for a service.) 2010 Sport Supercharged with all options apart from TV and Extended leather (wish I had the latter) (Previously 2007 RRS S/C) |

Great, Thanks Bobby. (Could you perhaps provide the complete bulletin please? My subscription to the technical site lapsed on the 19th and for some or other reason I've been unable to register again - the website rejects my card.)

Not sure this will work on the RRS but on Fords with one-shot open/close there is a reset procedure: push the window button down till the glass stops in the open position then hold the button down for 5 Secs then put the window all the way up then hold the button up for 5 Secs.

Sorry, don't have a copy but basically the dealer just has to configure the driver's door module and the passenger's door module. A quickie, actually! Half hour tops!
