Diesel Hybrid planned for 2012!!

http://www.worldcarfans.com/109121023468/l...ort-hybrid

[/img]Ambitious as this project may seem, Land Rover is quite confident it will be achieved. Market launch is 2012 and testing begins next year where up to five prototypes will be used.[img]

Very Happy Now the climate Censored protesters will stay away from the RRS!!!!

20 mile range! What a waste of effort. I guess they have show willing. Best thing LR can do is shed weight from their vehicles, I feel these hybrids are just going to pile on even more pounds???? 2010MY Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE

There will come a time people will be thankfull to us for holding back a next small ice age Laughing

Besides the 20 mile range, if they (which I assume) also use the braking energy, then this will indeed be a good advantage as here we do loose some. So without thinking about emissions, this would be inmho a better system. RRS SDV6 HEV Dynamic
