Prob bevause you ordered b4 Jan 1st....never mind. Hopefully it charges, as long as it does I don't mind.

Yes it should have been as the car was built before 1st Jan. All RRS consigned/invoiced to the supplying dealer before 1st Jan had them FOC, however any cars transferred from one dealer to another or built after 1st Jan are reconsigned with the charge. It is the same situation with Premium Leather where previously it was an option, whereas from 1st Jan it is standard but the price of the car increased. On FFRR & D4 Grand Black was FOC in leiu of standard wood, however from 1st Jan there is a charge for that too. Vision assist also went up slightly.

@James - can you confirm if lead charges iphone ? Endjin confirmed it charges his ipod touch...

I've not tried recently, but Matt will try one today and confirm later. As per the extract from LR below it looks like it will. Will confirm in a while.

The cable supplied with my car (built end October 2009), charges all iPods, iPhones and the iTouch. I've used it with the latest version iTouch as well as my iPhone 3Gs. I think I saw a part number on the cable - I can check if it will help? (I expected the cable not to charge the iPhone and bought the Schoche adapter prior to taking delivery - never used it in the end) 2010 Sport Supercharged with all options apart from TV and Extended leather (wish I had the latter) (Previously 2007 RRS S/C)

My MY10 did not charge the iphone from the cable supplied, the Schloche (however you spell it) adaptor sorted it for £20 purple people eater

i have been searching for the iPod cable for my MY2010. can some one please help me. where can i find a supplier. when i tried LR they said that the part is on back order and they have none in stock.

i am also hoping to get the latest version of the cable that has all the charging problems resolved. which i believe the part number is AH22-19H461-AA.

who else can supply this cable to me.
