Tim I would think that it is an option for the US market, just like you have on the pre MY10 models an empty whole for a bulb in each unit. |

That's what I thought it might be but the car I saw it on is in the UK and belongs to ASH555 of this forum! Must have been a mistake on the production line, so someone in the USA has an RRS with only 3 of the four lamps in place 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Can all MY10 owners look at their rear lights and see if the side is illuminated and if so is it both sides? MY10 3.0 TDV6 HSE, Zermatt Silver, 20" Diamond Turned Alloys, Factory Privacy Glass, Premium Leather, Contrast Stiching, Side Steps, Etc

this small light is in the reflector on the side of the car, yet still in the rear light cluster 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I can see where you mean , there is a small oblong cut into the reflector housing from which could emit light. Definately a US Market feature. Alas it us not active on mine......, 2010MY Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE

My 2010 doesn't have it but does come with the optional condensation. Long suffering RRS Owner, but I can't help it! |
