I have heaps of the bloomin' things lying around..... mind you --- just getting an ipod does mean I have the convenience of having all my music available, all the time. I do already have a Sony MP3 player but find I don't use it very often, mainly because , as usual with Sony, the kit is fantastic but the software is a pile of pants!

Also , and this is perhaps THE most important point ... I have managed to convince Mrs E that I need to get an ipod because of the cars shortcommings, and it would surely be a waste of the resourscefulness & energy expended in the act of convincing her, to now back out of buying myself a shiney new toy that she won't give me serious grief over!
