I have them on my TDV8 too, were already fitted when I bought it.
Like you I am not sure if I like them or not but don't want to remove them as previously

Another vote for no lamp guards.

I used to have them on mine, but took them off & now much prefer it that way.

Now lamps guards & the like are the preserve of the D3, with the RRS being kept "clean" so to speak.

Mine are now on fleabay as a result of this thread!!

Got them off this weekend - Easy job, once you find a hex key that fits..

I am soooo happy I took them off, gives the car much cleaner lines..

If you are thinking about doing it, it is really easy, just read the manual on how to take the lights off, as there are brackets screwed in behind the lights both front and rear..

Had them on mine with the chrome mirror caps but got the dealer to take the guards off thinking I could live with the chrome covers, knowing I could not live with the light guards.

Replaced the mirror covers with full colour code this weekend and it has transformed the RRS, such a small change has made a big difference....but what a pig to get off, fingers are cut to shreeds, whoever put them on must have used a tube of silicon sealer on each one

Cannot understand the point of the light guards or why anyone would fit them either?

NasMan, taking my ones of this weekend, will address the issue of the holes left by the screws at a later date, did you say that the handbook has instructions onhow to remove the lights.
