2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

What colour is my RRS - Santorini Black?

Hi,

When I bought my RRS - I was told it was Santorini Black. I have since been told thsi came out in 2009??
Is it actually Java black?

Reason I need to know is I want to colour code it..

By the way it is a 07(57) TDV8 HSE 57 RRS | TDV8 HSE | Java Black | Black Interior | Side Steps | 20" Alloys

I think I have found the answer

1) Java Black - This is the black used on the earlier models and the chassis plate should show colour code LRC697 (paint code PNF).

2) Santorini Black - This is the latest black colour (still currently used) and the chassis plate should show colour code LRC820 (paint code PAB). 57 RRS | TDV8 HSE | Java Black | Black Interior | Side Steps | 20" Alloys

Open the bonnet and on the left of the radiator top it gives you the paint code and description - looks like this

...but if yours is an 07, it should still be Java - they didn't change to Santorini until MY09.

Its quite easy to tell by looking at the colour, Java looks black but Santorini has mases of metalic colours to it!
