Battery Issues

Hi guys - I have a problem with the battery draining on my RRS. At the moment it seems to be random with no real pattern to it. Have had to call Range Rover Assist a few times who send out AA to jump start it. Had to jump start this morning again using my Navara but the RRS didnt want to start again. Got it started this morning but a warning light has now come on stating that the Adaptive Headlights have a fault...does this ever end?!

Has anybody else had the same problem? I guess its some small drain on the system, dealer suggests putting the RRS onto computer to diagnose the fault but Im think it wont show anything. Any help appreciated!

Australia 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Chawton White

There is a TSB for a battery drain (from the instrument binnacle IIRC), I can't seem to find it right now, but maybe someone else can post it..

Thanks 2nd Rower! Going into the dealers Wednesday so I will mention this to them and see what they say. Will have a look at relevant VIN numbers too.

Thanks again!

Dealer has identified a problem with the altenator and believes a software update will not work. WIll see how we go on.

However - excellent news - my front knocking on the suspension has stopped! (For the time being anyway!). I again mentioned it to them and said I was going to get an independent RAC check of the car and amazingly they changed some parts out. Will see how it runs over the next few weeks but its looking good so far!
