Well it finally looks like I'm going to be able to try out the RRS capabilities

We havent really had much of it so far, a couple of inches compared to our usual fall but the weatherman has finally promised North Wales a decent snow fall today, as much as 30cms I hear him say

With any luck, I wont be making it back to work tomorrow!!!

well its 11am and the 25cm promised has even started to arrive yet

A friend has reported blizzard conditions in Edinburgh which wasn't forecast to get any more today, so usual MetOff forecasting accuracy then! Travelled back home from Bolton v Hull game last night on the M62, we suddenly came across heavy snow mixed with ice made driving very challenging, we passed an accident on the west bound carraigeway at junction 23 and 22, near to Scammonden Dam, it was clear to see it was a fatal, found out this morning 3 were killed.......

Its a real wake up call of how quickly road conditions can change we were ploding along at a steady 70 within 1/2 mile 20mph was all we could manage, then the sickening sight on the other carraigeway makes you realise how quickly things change......

This morning is the first time in 2 weeks that there hasn't been frost on the inside of my greenhouse or on the car windows, so is melting slowly too. It's warming up a bit in these parts. Hopefully I will soon have a defrosted tap and pipes in my garage and be able to wash all the grim off the car. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
