2.7 or 3.0 l ?

Thinking of taking the plunge but not sure which engine to go for.It is going to be between the 2.7 and the 3.o l. diesel.Would really apreciate your opinions and experinces ,especially anybody who has had both. thanks in advance.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

You will only find 2.7 now as a used car or unloved dealer stock (but unlikely as there was a long run out period) as standard issue engine is the 3.0ltr, the other choices are 3.6TDv8 or 5.0ltr Supercharged. Nothing wrong with a 2.7 but if you are looking for a new RRS then all you will find are 3.0ltr cars, if you are thinking of nearly new used car then you will be able to get a 3.6TDv8 for less than than a new 3.0ltr 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

There'll be a price difference, however i'm sure most would recommend the new MY2010 with the uprated 3.0 TDV6.

2.7 is a dawg of an engine. The 3.0 is the way to go. I know I've had both! 2010MY Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE

Yep, I have to agree, I currently have the 2.7 and it's ok but I'm awaiting a new 3 litre and after test driving
it several times it's clearly a better engine than the 2.7 Thumbs Up 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black
