Mine flashed up REDUCED POWER and would not go faster than 50 mph bit like LIMP MODE!!! Booked in tommorrow because i'm sick and tired of paying 50k + and car been back 3 times now for driving faults! Think it's going to be parked at a bad angle in the middle of there forecourt!!!!!! If no soultion!!!

Yep Josh and like me you will remember that the launch cars from 2005 never had any problems like these
They just had parts like the DPH missed off them on the production line........................ these 2010MY cars are just too hitech for their own good!

I was always told never to buy a new model within the first 12 months after launch, let the others who were in a rush to have the latest toys do the customer testing............................ of course I never heeded that advice having taken delivery of many new cars shortly after or even on launch day.  2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

has anybody had any more luck with this as my dealer says there is no software patch on the way for it so i wrote a letter to land rover and they say the same and do not now of a problem,i will get the guys name on the letter and post it up ,perhaps if everyone with the problem contacts them ,you never now they might do something about it ?????

I had the gear box warning light as well yesterday back home from work.

My supplying dealer 're-flashed' my car with the most recent software (about 3 weeks ago) and I haven't had a re-run of the 'Gearbox Fault' message since then. ''

Prior to that, it was almost a daily event, so there must be software fix that exists.

As for LR not knowing about it........that's total tosh, they know all about it, but prefer to maintain the 'Ostrich' method of customer relations! '' .

There is absolutely no substitute for a genuine lack of preparation.

Had same problem on my MY10 RRS a number of times. Dealer recognises problem but has put it down to minor software error! Just happened to be talking to LR Customer Care the other day on an unrelated subject and they advised that this is now a known problem and that a fix due to be issued which may include replacement of actuator and software upgrade however no timing given.

Not the first problem on the RRS since delivery in mid September. So far 5 warranty visits for lots of niggles: steering pulling to left, rust on rear screen frame, paint blemishes, centre console replaced, rear door retaining strap seized, wrong mudflaps fitted front and reat and finally still waiting for a full size spare wheel as incorrect one fitted at factory. Ho hum... the way it's going it looks like I will have more warranty visits than my last 2006 MY RRS which managed 12 in 3 years  Long suffering RRS Owner, but I can't help it!

GOT A 2010 3.0TD V6HSE - NARA BRONZE

REGULARLY GET MESSAGE SAYING DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER FULL - VISIT DEALER.
VEHICLE NOW IN REDUCED PERFORMANCE MODE PENDING IT GOING IN TOMORROW - HENCE NO ACCELERATION.

ALSO, DOES ANYBODY GET A RUMBLING SOUND UNDERNEATH WHEN GOING OVER POTHOLES OR BUMPS ? THEY COULDN'T FIX IT ON MY LAST TDV8 AFTER 4 GOES, HAVING CHANGED COILS AND SPRINGS--THE SOUND IS LIKE THE EXHAUST TOUCHING THE UNDERSIDE OR FUEL TANK

ON DELIVERY THE AIR SUSPENSION LEAKED AND THE VEHICLE DROPPED OVERNIGHT ON ONE SIDE, PLUS THE LOCK WAS SEIZED ON THE REAR NEARSIDE PASSENGER DOOR.

LOVE THE CAR BUT THINK I'VE GOT A LEMON ?

Please look for your caps lock key and unlock it - typing everything in CAPS is extremely rude and the equivalent of shouting on internet forums

To unblock your DPF you need to read the owner's manual or do a search with the search function as this topic has been covered quite a few times and there is a procedure for unblocking it yourself. Regrettably the stuff in the manual hasn't seemed to work this time ,so it's gone into the dealer today as Land Rover Assist said they couldn't come out until Wednesday - good job I wasn't stuck somewhere
