Ooh! We got snow now! The back garden has a dusting!

Best quote of the day on Jeremy Vine show on radio 2.

All the rest of the year we 4x4 drivers are maligned, our cars vandalised and made to feel personally responsible for global warming while being taxed to the hilt!

Now there's snow everybody suddenly needs our help to get home or out of troube! Well now folk see WHY we drive them so I for one will leave them to it inthe snow!

Have to admit that I can't helping thinking how right he was despite the "goodwill to all men" season! Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

Just some advise, was in Bolton yesterday and had to go up a very steep snowy road, and put the car in the snow setting - but there was not enough oomph to get the car up the hill, as i think there is a max speed it will go....had to take it back into normal mode.....but worked anyway when an X5 just slipped back down the hill - so all good....

Took me 9 hours to get home from Manchester to London last night as lorry on fire at Junction 18/19 and then another junction closed 7/6 - worst driving night of my life.......

OH MY GOD! First winter ever we've had a gritter up the street before its started to thaw!

The council usually waits till the rain comes on then declares what a wonderful job they did clearing the side streets so quickly!

Mind you, the speed he went up here there won't be much hitting the road till he stops at the junction then there'll be the obligatory little pile of salt!!

You can't have had the settings right, earlier this year i spent all night trying to find an impassable road, it just kept going Bow down

From what i remember low range/snow setting was the order of the day Thumbs Up MY10 3.0 TDV6 HSE, Zermatt Silver, 20" Diamond Turned Alloys, Factory Privacy Glass, Premium Leather, Contrast Stiching, Side Steps, Etc
