Ok here's a novel 1!

The other night I jumped in the car and started up to find the lights behind the needles in all 4 dials were out! The clocks themselves were all lit! Just couldn't see where the needles were pointing cos they were dark!

Next a few nights later, gets in the car to go pick friends up and when I was waiting outside the house I dropped the suspension which came up on the green panel in the dash and then froze there! Clock never changed from 6:58 and the small pic of the car stayed on disply after I'd gone back to drive height!

With the lights I switched off for couple of mins, restarted and alls been well since!

Tried the same on Sunday for the display twice and it didn't come back until it had been sitting for an hour or so then again alls been well so far!

Anyone had this before? Its the 1st real niggles I've had with the car since I bought in at end of May.

Could it be indicitive of something bigger starting to arrive or am I just being paranoid after my experiences with the XC90 and its 23 visits to the stealer in 8 months??

Battery causes all sorts of odd faults when it is on its way out - what age RRS / battery

Car was new on 26th May this year so hopefully that rules that out! Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

To add to this last night I got into the car to take my son home and the car was in park and showing sport on the dash and the m/s was lit beside the gearshifter. Put it in D to pull out the drive and it came up saying transmission fault. Switched off and sat a minute and it cleared but next the park sensors have stuck with the front one giving a solid beep and the rear not working. After being parked up all night thats seems to have cleared now too. There wasnt any snow or anything covering the sensors. I got out and gave them a wipe to make sure it wasnt ice or "other".

Cars run faultless for the last 8 months. Surely a bit of cold weather and snow isnt going to show it up now??
