Stripped ready for colour coding, did it my self in the end
Only had the car a week and started stripping A.S.A.P.
thinking of doing headlights as well .... working up some dutch courage to stick them in oven (at 200deg for 3min) UPDATED..... did it 4.30am this morning 3.1/2 min @ 200deg IN PRE HEATED FAN ASSISTED OVEN is better, cover up front lens with tin foil and back, just leave joint exposed so it melts glue (black sticky stuff)
also thinking of having a go at led's in headlights?
Local spray shop doing the colour coding for £270 and that includes the whole of both bumpers, grill,(black&silver) side vents, door handles, tailgate moulding, d-pillars, door mouldings, also no. plate surround, do i get them to do the parking distance control mouding (not the censer itself) What do you think,? have also put on the OE side steps great job if I say so myself, took me time and got there in the end. if anybody needs templates and instruction, I have them, could send them on if ya need them
see picks in my gallery at bottom of this page (haven't masterd how to put then on here as yet)
