Mate there is a guy on ebay selling the new matt leather ones - I paid about £125 - and looks really good....local dealer will fit it for you too. |

We were lacking a frisbee in the park a few weeks ago...and decided to use the RRS wheel.....worked well until a little kid ran off with it to use on his go kart.... |

Seen the ones on ebay, they are £150, wanted a cheaper one, someone who has upgraded to the smooth leather one must have one. |

NickM - did you use a dealer in London to fit? - My 2005(55) SC wheel is looking tired and after seeing the soft leather ones, I fancy a change.

i paid about £90 from the dealer for the brand new smooth leather one.... i heard nick at yeovil does them even cheaper. Why are people paying over £100 ? WINNER - 2008 Best All New Photograph

Viewwise, I'm led to believe that LR put the prices up just after you bought yours from us, and I think Nick saw it coming and stock-piled a few (clever bloke).

I read on here somewhere that someone had their wheel replaced though their warranty due to the dye running onto their hands.

I had my steering wheel replaced due to in delaminating at about 18 months old and 35k km's.. No questions asked once they saw it, fully covered under warranty.
