Well I don't want to pay an extra 2.5% VAT after Jan1 2010 for a replacement set when I change the car next year when it is 3 years old. Nothing wrong with the LEDs apart from 1 side light LED only has 5 out of 10 LEDS illuminating. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

VA, nowt wrong with the units, see my answer to Lespes. When I change cars the dealer will reduce the value of the part-exchange because they will have to fit a set of standard lights, so I would prefer to do it now and save a tiny amount - £32 is better of in my pocket than Gordon Brown's 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Oh I forgot you have those non standard lights. What happened to the original set of headlights? Surely you could have picked up a spare set of lights and fitted them yourself - even I could do that, it's a 5 minute jib. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

The Hawke set were the original units that got modified, the LEDS were fitted and the orange side reflectors removed. Grey plastic within the lamp units was also colour coded Stornoway and a Hawke logo was put where the orange reflector used to be.

That's one way of looking at it - now I'm paying the price of being a bit different for the last 2 years!
