Questions?!

Hi all - one quick question and one probably less quick - on a 55 plate G4 RRS V8, looking under the bonnet, what should be under the black plastic cover to the left hand side of the engine bay (i.e. oppostie side to the battery/fuses)? Obviously the brake reservoir and associated gear is there, but it looks as though something else has been unscrewed and removed, with a relay and connector left where it was. Knowing that the G4's had various things added/removed, I was intrigued.

Also the winch interferes with the adaptive cruise, so on the G4's it's disconnected/removed, leaving the flashing amber warning light on the dash - anyone know how this can be stopped? Thumbs Up

Thanks in advance.

Chris

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

IIRC the second black cover is for the 2nd battery that is needed if you actually have to use the winch! Thats why I have a hydraulic winch on my Def - much much lighter, no split charging system to give trouble and no 2nd heavy duty battery to lug around - oh and it will pull forever without burning out and it loves getting wet (unlike many electric winches!) because there is nothing to drown. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
