hi, need info on isolating the Air suspension

Hi, I need to isolate the air suspension on a 2006 sport diesel. we are putting a new managemant system on to give a little more control. short of actually taking it to land rover, i am hoping there might be a genius on here to help. i know that if i just fit the new managemant system, the original will prob throw warning lights up all over the place. i don't want to remove the ecu's, but just switch them off please please if you can help, i would be very grateful..cheers in advance.

Hi there,

The air suspension ECU is on the vehicle CAN (comms network) and provides signals across that network to other systems such as trim height info for dynamic response. So you cant take it off without mimicking the controllers protocols and cant swtich it off without flagging comms errors. So your new controller would also need to be capable of publishing this info over RRS's CAN. If a dealer can do this i'll eat my elbow pads.

Rolling Eyes i'm tired. Trust me, i'm an Engineer!
