2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black
My RRS ate my window nom nom nom

I noticed a rattle when closing the door this morning, and I've just gotten in the car to move it out of the driveway and the drivers side window just fell into the door Big Cry

Is it just me or has this happened to anyone else? Unfortunately its 6 months out of warranty. I don't do any real offroading (just the odd drive up a muddy road)

nothing too major, whip off the door car and youll most likely find the support has snapped, i wouldn't have expected it to have rusted at that age.

Id dont have much experience with LR but i know BMW or VW would cover a repair the repair, good luck Thumbs Up

Last time that happened to me was in the 80's in a ford escort - i'd have thought LR would have improved on the design since then Laughing - should be obv when you get the door card off what you need to do

1986 205 GTI for me. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Though I did have a rather large coming together with a mate's 2.8i Granny Ghia (Remember them?), had part of his bumper trim wedged in my door after.

And did a semi DIY repair job, other than the window the repair went quite well. Whistle

Loved driving a silver 205 with white doors and black primer wings - everyone let me out of junctions no problem - until it was resprayed. Thumbs Up

The clips holding the window were busted. Ended up having to get a whole new window + clips, as the clips weren't available separately.

Had it fixed professionally - don't have the time to pull the door apart. The labor charge indicates that it was a difficult job. Bit of a worry though.....
