What proportion of RRS's have Dynamic Response?

It doesn't always seem to get a mention in the description of cars for sale.

What are your guesses as to how common it is, particularly on TDV6's where not standard?

IIRC, 2005 - 2007 it was optional but I may be wrong! Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Did many people specify it when the cars were ordered though?

Trying to gauge whether the majority of cars have it or not?

Bit confused about this on my own car a 2005 TDV6. It has the light on the instrument binnacle the symbol of a car with 2 arrows either side of it. However I though it should also have a oil fluid level bottle near the grill somewhere, which I dont have. Question

My understanding is this dash light is on all cars, and is illuminated for any suspension faults, regardless of whether dynamic response is fitted or not.

I do not have dynamic response, but had this light illuminate and a suspension error occur when my battery current was low!

2nd, I have this suspension light on too with a message saying 'Suspension fault - Normal ride height only'

Did you replace your battery and did that fix it?

I suspect our dealer here is trying to stiff me with expensive repairs Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

ST - I actually had many simultaneous errors reported .. Gearbox, Suspension and park brake.

Restarted the car and the errors disappeared. Went straight to the dealer who diagnosed low battery charge via the computer.

So I charged the battery and have not had the issue since (this was in September)... Not sure what caused the battery to go low, as I had not changed my usage pattern.

There are several threads where people have commented on dash warnings (such as suspension) actually being identified as low current/charge from the battery. Why Land Rover can't detect and report exactly this to the driver, but only the technician via the LR device is beyond me.

If you haven't already, might be worth charging or even replacing your battery just to be sure its not that before spending really big $'s!!
