2010mdl RRS or 2010mdl RRVogue ?

Guys i know this is the RRSport forum, but i have seen a delivery mileage new model Vogue for 56k more or less the same price as a tdv8HSE. With all the problems being reported with the sport iam wondering if the vogue is the better car? What do you think ?

FFRR is a completely different car mate, more spacious, more comfortable, more luxurious, quitter (it has double glazed windows); proper RR boot with picnic table but it is less sporty - it feels like a big ship on many occasions. Though, still as fast as the RRS. We have got in the garage both (exactly the same spec) and as much as the cars are similar so are they different. So all in all, it depends on what you want really: a sporty 4x4 or luxurious 4x4?

BTW, it is only mine opinion so would be interesting to hear what others think Whistle

Not really sure that a RRS is more problematic than RR. Perhaps a more active forum and more problems reported as a result but their are many who have had no problems.

For me having the choice now would go for the Vogue rather than the Sport, the V8 diesel engine is great in this and have found it more comfy than the Sport to drive plus more refined and more space.

Also think a better impression is created to other people by the RR, than the Sport (imoh) RR more class RRS Flash and Sporty, but if your some young pup Class might translate as old and boring Laughing

Take them both for a test drive totally different to drive and take it from there, really either one is a great car in its own right and you will be grinning lots which ever one you go for Thumbs Up

When we replace our RRS, it will be with a FFRR.

I think the 2010MY FFRR looks much better than the new Sport and the interior is still much better.

However, I remember when we test drove both before we bought the Sport and the RRS was much the better drive but where I live, I need something which will iron out the s Censored t roads we have here and our Sport on 20's just crashes over potholes and uneven road surfaces. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

The FFRR is better. Wink
The FFRR is more luxury and looks always good. The RRS is more sporty.

A new FFRR for the same price as a new RRS. Kinda says it all, the FFRR is on it's last legs and not getting the sales hence the heavy discounting. If you want the ultimate in luxury and have never owned one before, buy the FFRR no contest. 2010MY Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE

Gazzer i think your right. After looking at the new HSE and a Vogue,it is the HSE which is now better inside. With the extra leather of course! IMO.

Having owned a TDV6 HSE and a TDV8 HSE and now a FFRR i prefer the FFRR for comfort Very Happy but if you want a 4x4 that handles well and looks the muts the the sport is the answer Mr. Green

As for problems i think you will find that they both suffer with similar problems, what ever your choice you wont regret it Thumbs Up
