That may well have been the case a few years back. How ever as with most main agents now they do not run replacement cars. In this environment its not economic sense. So I am told.

They might not have replacement cars but they will have a RRS demonstrator. Its just down to whether they will lend you that, they will probably try their best not to but they will have one they could lend you! I pushed as hard as I could with GS they said they just do not have the cars any more for situations like this.

If you was recovered by LRA why have they not sourced you a RRS FFRR D3/4 via Enterprise? or was it Enterprise who offered the FL2?

just so you know Enterprise told me they charge LR exactly the same whether they provide a FL2 or a FFRR

To be fair enterprise have offered a freelander 2. To which I rejected in favour of the passat as in it was auto for my wife to drive.
