hi guyz - newbie here, is there any pros / cons to fitting 22""x10"" alloys and low profile tyres to my RRS tdv6 hse?

just wondered as i have 20"" rims/tyres on there @ the moment!
would bigger rims / tyres affect the performance or when you lower the vehicle?

22 inch wheels would almost definitely invalidate any warranty claim for associated parts such as steering assembly and suspension... LR are very hard line on this...

In fact I got told today by a dealer in Australia, that if you don't fit OE tyres (never mind all terrain vs road), they mean exactly the brand and size you got the car with, then LR will not allow a claim.

22s may look good, but ride will suffer, you'd have to be very careful how you park and as 2nd says LR are getting more and more strict around warranty claims on associated parts.

Up to you to take the risk at the end of the day, but that is the advice. :thumbsup

many thanks for replies guys - think i will stick with 20"" new rims and my tyres _ be cheaper anyway.
