2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

So, who designed the Range Rover Sport?

Does anyone know much about the history of the Range Rover Sport? Has anyone ever written a book? If not, it would make a good project for someone?

Who designed the Range Rover Sport anyway? Was it a single person? .... or was it a Land Rover team effort of some kind?

If it was a person, has he/she designed anything else of note? I've been mad for flipping years, absolutely years, over the edge for yonks.

I think the design team was lead by Geoff Upex LR chief designer - now retired (2006) 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

I think Gerry McGovern manages the design team now, I believe he took over from Geoff Upex,

Like most car design teams, there's a chap who gets all the credit and then a bunch of underlings who do the work.
