I would get a test drive to compare. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

I saw a White with tints on the M1 Jnt 44 the other day looked nearly as good as mine

remember though there is a new White coming out soonish

Fuji White which I am told is more blueish than current Alaska whites cream tinge

New TDV6 is very good, but go for the TDV8 is the wallet will stretch that far. No doubting it's the better engine Thumbs Up I think the 0% finance is on the APP deal - you stick in 50% upfront and then pay nothing for 2 years when you pay the remaining balance.

Don't forget though, that you'll probably have to get something out of current stock to avoid the VAT increase.

thanks for the replys guys, but im after paying so much off every month instead of paying it all off in 2 years,it isn't a problem paying for it now but if its 0% finance then why not pay for it like that, even though i've never had finance before at 0% its not costing me any more.

I don't think the 0% applies to a monthly lease or contract hire or whatever... have a chat with Kam and James maybe and see what can be found, both in terms of car and finance?

don't really want finance smoogle just wanted to take advantage of the 0% over 2 year, surely paying it back every month is better than them waiting 2 year for it Confused Confused Gone,,TDV8 arctic frost, black leather, colour coded handles, rear entertainment, sunroof.

Not sure how or why it works... the finance company must make it's money somewhere else on the deal I suppose. Kam could probably explain it - he's good at that sort of thing Thumbs Up

You could put the monthly equiv somewhere else for the 2 years working for you then pay off what you owe at 2 years keeping any gain for yourself..... that way you'll get used to 'paying' for it monthly but have a gain for yourself (as long as you invest well) at the end.... you need something paying more than 0% Wink

TDV8 V TDV6 3.0

Hi Andy

Like your self I came from TDV8 to a 3.0V6 HSE. First impression after 2000 miles are that the 2010 is a total revelation in comparison with the previous model.

In my view it warrants a new model in its own right. Massive improvements in all areas

My only disappointment is the performance of the new 3.0 engine. Whist the figures might show a very close comparison between the TDV8 and the 3.0 in real world terms there is a gulf of difference.

Where the TD|V8 just wafts along on a very light throttle the 3.0 needs to worked much harder. Along with the 3.0 is actually worse off in MPG terms that the V8.

I have just ordered a TDV8 for Dec delivery. Whilst the TDV6 is a great car its no match for the V8.

yes i agree city lad i think i'll stick with th V8 & forget about the V6,its no good coming down a peg or two.especially when their wanting to give me 4k less than their asking for theirs.

Sorry, thought you wanted a RRS? If you want a FFRR then we'll be able to get to £36k for yours. Bit confused now.

James Thumbs Up
