Hi Zilch, I did the intro to sand driving with the club a few years back (when I still had a Dsicovery). How did you find it in the RRS? 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey with Alpaca premium leather, Adaptive cruise, Adaptive Bi-xenons, sunroof, Premium Nav, Premium ICE Logic 7, telephone, active locking rear diff, console coolbox, seat memory, powerfold mirrors, tow pack, window tint, dual battery, engel fridge, Goodyear Mud-Terrain tyres.

enjoyed it immensely, noticed that due to the lower profile tyres i had to drop to a few PSI lower than the D3's, also sometimes it struggled in Gravel, Grass, Snow mode that seemed to cope with the majority of small obstacles, but when dialled into Sand it breezed along. Great day out and thoroughly enjoyed it... Posted some pictures on Off Road events ... Sand Driving thread started by RedRover Thumbs Up Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Hey Jim
good to hear you joined the club.
Their training is good...
I also did the advanced sand, but my tip is to hang back till you remember all the little tips,
as i forgot some of the basics on the advanced course since it had been a few months between courses...
and I nose planted the rrs into the sand dune and on reversing rips off the wheel arch covers (the black plastic no the metal work)... Toyota Corolla...Sad((((
