A New Noise To Annoy Me.

Is there a compartment anywhere behind the drivers seat (on the floor) that I dont know about? Anytime I drive round a roundabout or take a turn I can hear what sounds like a screw or something similar rolling across something flat then it'll roll the other way. At the start it didnt bother me but its like slow torture now. Please, please, PLEASE tell me where this could be. Big Cry It can't be that hard on diesel???

No i found them the last time I took on this challenge. The panel the offending item rolls on seems to be big enough because it rolls front to back and left to right foe a second or two. Question It can't be that hard on diesel???

Sounds like it could be something to do with the amp, under the Drivers Seat.

But I guess you've already found that as well.

Or could be something 'trapped' under the rear seat squab, where you lift them up to drop the rear seats down.

Me Sarcastic Whistle

It wasn't meant to be actually, just thought the amp is a bit obvious, and you also said behind the drivers seat which it isn't.

Anyways rear seat squab - there should be a small 'strap' sticking out between the rear seat squab and the seat back. You pull this to release the seat squab retainer and it lifts toward the back of the front seat. You can then fold the seat back flat for carrying big things like wardrobes, bodies etc.

If you can't see the strap, it means it's fallen between the squab and the back. You'll need to stick your hand down there until you can locate it. As if you were searching down the sofa for loose change

Once the squab is up you can see the metal seat mountings, could be something around there making an annoying noise. Thumbs Up

Hmmm.... you sure it's behind the drivers seat? Not something running up and down the channel in the rear quarter where for example the emergency fuel cap release is?

I think we've entered the realms of straw grasping now Whistle
