Software updates

I'm a believer in the saying 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'

I had a letter from a local main dealer who are offering a free software update program check to ensure my car is running at the optimum software level.

Should i take this offer up? I'm concerned they'll do something that causes something else to fail

Worth at least finding out what it includes at least, I'd say... but must admit the above isn't unwise advice. The most likely thing to break, I suspect, would be any BT connectivity with your phone, where it worked fine before and all of a sudden will no longer synch your phonebook for example....
