Have been invited to do the Bentley Factory Tour, was wondering if anyone here had done it and was it worthwhile?

Get to drive a Continental GT afterwards for a couple of hours supposedly.

Have driven a friend's Continental before, and must admit would be nice to 'test drive' one that wasn't owned by a friend - if you know what I mean.

Oh and they throw in a nice lunch as well.

I've been invited by my bank, guessing it's some sort of corporate package that Bentley offer.

As there is also a 'normal' tour available via the Bentley website, application on a first come first served basis. It's monthly I think on a Friday, but doesn't include the lunch or test drive.

Alternatively, if you drop into your local Bentley Dealers and buy one, they will let you visit when your's is being built.

That's how my mate got to do his tour.

I haven't. I do live nearby though and regularly see test cars, heavily disguised, being driven around locally.

Go to your local dealer and show a lot of interest and with a bit of luck you will get a track day at Millbrook...before I go mine, I was looking at a dealer in North London, and a week later an invite came - didn't even end up buying the car from them....worth a try.
