Genuine Range Rover Sport Bodyside Moulding Kit

What's the collective view on fitting these?

Do they actually protect the car from "dooring" in car parks?

Do they ruin the look of the car?

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

I had them fitted at the first service on my "old" RRS but I haven't got around to having them put on my 2009 yet. They probably won't stop anyone else "dooring" you but you won't ding yor own dorr on any walls etc.

They look good when fitted and certainly don't ruin the look of the car Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Looks vs Practicality.

You could get away with it if the car is black. Gone: RRS : HSE : TDv6 : 57 : Java Black : Ebony : 20"

Have them on mine, which is black.

Obviously do provide some extra protection from others dooring you, but the determined car park fu**wit will get passed them. Twisted Evil

Think the sidesteps provide more protection from doors of lower cars. If you don't lower to access in car parks.

IMHO the RRS without them looks a tad naked, especially in Silver.

Mine were suicidal, kept trying to jump off the door, from the leading edge. So make sure the Dealer fits them properly. As they are stick on. Thumbs Up

Have some, but as mine is Java you probably won't get the same effect as with Stornoway.

Will dig some out and post up.

Here you go:

As you can see in Java they are barely noticeable.

Poland 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Rimini Red

check my gallery, you can see them in rimini red. I think you just get used to it and it is difficult to say whether they look nice or not.
I can say one thing for sure. they are really useful when parking in narrow places between cars parked side by side. They save your door and do not damage other's doors. My name: Patryk
