Options list and prices on MY10 Cars and Deals?

Evening,

Not posted on here for a while but am looking at swapping out MY08 RRS TDV8 for the MY10 model.
Anyone driven the new V6 and can anyone post the options and prices for the RRS as the dealer has forgot to include this with the brochure Big Cry
Test drive the V6 next 2 weeks and was wondering how it stacks up against the TDV8 as the dealership does not have a V8 demo car.

Any deals going?

Cheers Thumbs Up

Try giving James and his team @ Charles Hurst Park Royal a call Thumbs Up

I've been impressed with their forum responses so they should be able to advise. Gone: RRS : HSE : TDv6 : 57 : Java Black : Ebony : 20"

Mccalia, Thanks for the intro! Thumbs Up

Red, drop me a PM with your email address and I'll send you a pdf with all the info you need. Wink

As for deals...... there are a few high-spec cars out there for immediate delivery, but generally most cars are now 'order only' which does reduce the deals available. The Q4 campaign will be announced on Thursday which could include some finance deals (Q3 did so fingers crossed) however details are not released to the network until 1st Oct.

We'd be happy to look after you even if we are a bit geographically challenged.... ask Tim From Scotland!

James Thumbs Up

Go on www.landrover.co.uk Click on 'Brochure Request' and you can look at the entire eBrochure collection plus price list online.

The new 3ltr TDV6 is awesome, arguably just as good as the TDV8. You will have to make that call yourself on which you prefer. My dealer says only factory order now for them. 3+ month wait, plus LR are restricting supply to keep prices up. Demand for these new 2010 LR's is v high.

Good luck with the deals...... 2010MY Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE

Don't want to direct you away from CHPR.

But looking on Autotrader and Stratstones seem to have a lot of 3.0 TDV6 HSEs around the 50k level.

I know that is the list price, but they have 5 times as many adverts as any other LR Dealer. Maybe they have some they haven't shifted, or they are just teaser adverts Question

However I'd probably not buy a cup of tea from Stratstones..... Whistle

Whilst Stratstone may advertise good stock, their after sales service in my experience is extremely poor and I've used both BMW and Land Rover dealerships in the past to purchase and service my cars.

I'm sure there are some good stratstone dealerships, I've just been unlucky to choose ones which thrive on being unprofessional and slow (and can't even make cups of tea correctly!) Gone: RRS : HSE : TDv6 : 57 : Java Black : Ebony : 20"

Thanks for all the info so far.
Plan to phone around as Stratestone knocked £6000 of my new TDV8 back in March 2008.

Tried downloading the online ebrochure but to no avail Big Cry

Hopefull James at CHPR will be able to sort that out today Thumbs Up

What are the must have options on the car, looking forward to the heated steerng wheel.
Anything else I should look at putting on the car?

Cheers

Red,

I'm sure James will come up Trumps. Thumbs Up

Heated Steering Wheel is one I'd go for, the 360 cameras is another must have - but finding one with it now would be easier than finding rocking horse Censored . Premium Leather and cross stitching, but that's very much a personal preference. I'd also be tempted by heated rear seats this time.

What colour are you going for, as the wheel options work better with some colours more than others. Saw Stratstones advertising a Bournville, looked very nice. Cool

Good Luck with Stratstones, if you had a good deal last time may be worth chancing your arm with them again. Especially if they are the only one's with any stock. Thumbs Up

Mcalia,

I'm another 'victim', hence my disclaimer about the cup of tea.
Think you got better service when buying than me. At least they made you a cup of tea(badly), I had to make my own. I'm a dab hand with Flavia machines now after how many cups I've made in their service centre over the last couple of years.

Tea anyone? Laughing

Kind of sums up their level of service, get on with it yourself. Whistle

I bought my new RRS from Stratstones. Bought 5 cars from them in 5 years. It is a matter of finding a good sales chappie that makes a huge difference. Stratstones told me they were out of 3.0 HSE's at the weekend, factory order only.

Gazzer,

fair point there must be a decent one amonsgt them somewhere, for me the Sales experience was ok, not overly good though. Service just didn't stand up until I really stamped my feet, and now they're back to their old tricks.
Check out Autotrader they're advertsiing a lot of RRS MY10 on there, all at different branches. Could be that they have gone already, or expect them to soon so can't be bothered to ship out to other Dealers in the Group.

islider, agree.

I've been lucky to have purchased a few new Jaguars and Land Rovers over the past few years. To such a point I have been desensitised to the car purchasing experience. I do my own research on the car I lust over then decide the price I want to pay and go see where I can get with the dealers. I now have a good contact who knows I don't need to mess about with haggling and they give me the bottom line, knowing I'll be back in 18months time for a another car. When I collected my new car at the weekend, it took less than 30 mins before we were off, didn't even bother with a cup of tea!

Anyway, the new Sport is fantastic! 2010MY Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE

Evening James,

Popped down to the local dealer to have a look at the car. The interior is superb and I want one!
Waiting to here from Matthew from your dealership and so far he has been excellent to deal with.
Waiting to hear back from yourself and Stratstones with a PTC figure, the spec and colour is already decided on.
At present the local dealer has given me the best deal, so over to you Thumbs Up

Ps Thank you for the Options sheet this morning!
