Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

I just can't get used to the new 2 bar grille, it somehow doesn't look "enough" for the car. In fact, I don't really like the new grilles on any of the cars, I think that the LR3 looks better than the LR4 from the front. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Too rich for me, I will be buying used in future!

LRA are squeezing the price up too high in my opinion, especially with the stronger A$ against the quid.

I like a nice motor but $100k is my absolute upper limit. I have a boat to run as well so cars while nice are not the only pleaseure I have and I don't need a new RRS that badly! Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Australia

I bought one today and cant wait untill I get it delivered (Oct).
I went in for a Disco 4 and came out with a RRS 3.0 TDV6, with more options than I would have picked but once I realized that the nice 3.0 liter diesel is now in the RRS as well, I was hooked and this was the only one that was the color I wanted in the timeframe I can wait for. Very happy though. Its a beauty, love the new interior as well, its awesome. RRS 3.0 TDV6 MY10 Stornaway/Black, Sunroof, P/Shift, 20" Style 3,Tow Pack, Mem Pack, AHBA. Delivery Oct/09

Welcome Macwoody... When is it due and what colour and options did you go for?

Assume you used MLR?

I don't think I'll be upgrading in a hurry. $170k is a bit much.

All, in looking at which options I want (or need) and their subsequent impact on the back pocket, I've put together the following spreadsheet. I think I've got it all right.

Assumptions are Corporate Package (Free three years service, reduced Dealer delivery, basic discount), 3 year novated lease, 7.5% Interest Rate and 50% residual.

Option prices from the Land Rover 2010 catalogue.

Stephen,

I didn't think the corporate package was 'free' per se, but add about a thousand or so to the capital cost of the car.

I am confused as your basic on the road cost is quite a bit lower than what the dealer emailed me and I listed above...Am I missing something?

Personally I think the 360 camera is the 'must have' option/gadget from new 2010 options...Would also like to see what the flappy paddle is like! Cool

Cheers

This is what I think makes up the basic price. It's just over 108K. The Corporate pack that I accessed on my current vehicle (through Defence) included free service (three years), Dealer Delivery at $995 instead of $2000, OEM front and rear rubber mats as well as just over $3600 as a corporate discount on the list price. I was happy with that. Very Happy

I checked last weekedend and LR as still doing this for Defence. I hope to order my new one in Oct - Nov this year for a March delivery.

The only positive about the prices going up is that it puts the perceived value of the cars up which will help out anyone who wants to sell their current ride. 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6
