United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Having a look at the other party's car, I'm surprised they have insurance!

That is the typical car of an oik with no cover.

One just like that hit me in my Merc C-Class days. The Beemer collapsed, I could have sold you my Merc and you wouldn't have noticed any damage. Although, it cost a few thousand to repair as the undertray way bent. And whadya know, no insurance. Got it all back (eventually) via the whatsisname. I've been mad for flipping years, absolutely years, over the edge for yonks.

Glad you're all ok, minus the aches.

Looking at the pictures again, looks like his bonnet got the full force of the bumper crossmember, and the rest has carried on underneath you.
Surprised you can still see the spare and the exhaust pipes looking pretty ok.

Great advert for the RRS Thumbs Up

Even more reason why I'm so confused why people want to tailgate a mobile brick wall. Confused

Bedfordshire police were excellent when they eventually arrived - shouldn't complain as it was their 5th or 6th accident of the day and it was only lunchtime! - they wrote down details of all the drivers and gave each of the drivers a copy. details included checking everyone had tax and insurance, so at least I knew straight away there wasn't going to be any issues there.

I think that you are right there, although there is some slight damage to the offside exhaust pipe - I'll dig a photo out later as I would like to know if under the circumstances I should be getting a new pipe or having it bent straight.

Main reason I started the thread was to share that thought with other owners Very Happy

Surprise surprise it's a BMW driver Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Well very sorry I slagged off BMW drivers Bow down I now realise it also applies to LR3 drivers Censored

Driving along behind a LR3 in lane 2 of a dual carriageway with nothing in lane 1 and nothing in front of him at 60mph. He then rams his brakes on and nearly hits me. Does it another 2 times so I move over before he succeeds as the last one missed me by 3"..............whereupon he slows down parallel to me and goes into a rage.

By which stage I'm fuming Twisted Evil He scared the life out of me. Couldn't get past him for fear of him ramming me off the road! So I followed him at 40-50 mph to his destination where he goes into a rage and threatened me with an 8 cell metal Maglite torch Exclamation I only wanted to ask......Why Question

What is wrong with people today Question TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone
