Australia 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Alaska White
RRS's tyres only have 2mm left after 19000km, is it normal?

I got a RRS TDV8 2009MY, after 19000km driving, it only has 2mm left on all 4 tyres.

Is it normal? How much are the tyres cost, mine is Continental 275/40 R20 106Y.

Is this the best one on the market? Any suggestions?

Thanks everyone!

Many threads on here about the 'craptinentals' Laughing .

It seems that Michelin, Pirelli, Kumho, General etc all make longer lasting tyres - do a search on here or visit the 'wheels and tyres' section of disco3.co.uk.

My MY09 TDV6 HSE came with Goodyear Wrangler F1s on 19 inch rims. At 18,000 miles (nearly 29,000 kilometres) the tyres have 6 mm all round. I expect they will last 30,000 miles (over 48,000 km).

Three quarters of the mileage they have done has been fast motorway driving - other quarter slow town driving.

I don't go mad driving - but I also don't try to drive to save the tyres either.

I will get another set nex time 'round. I've been mad for flipping years, absolutely years, over the edge for yonks.

Franky.....I agree with Mercury you need to change to Goodyear F1's ASAP!

I am having 2 new tyres fitted today after covering well over 40000 miles & the rears are still fine Very Happy RRS TDV6 HSE Giverney/Ivory.

I could only found the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 275/45ZR20 110ZR, compare to the orginial 275/40 R20 106Y. It's classfied as passenger Tyres, not sure if this fits.

I didn't find any suitable tye in the 4WD section since they could't fit on 20inch wheels.
