General Grabber UHP tyres

Just had 2 new General Grabber UHP tyres put onto the front of my RRS. These tyres cost less than £150.00 inc VAT each and in my limited knowledge seem to be better than the much debated Conti's. FYI they are directional tyres and one thing they have over the Conti's is a deeper tread on the outside of the tyre - the area where most wear seems to occur on the Contis, so these tyres should last longer.

Will keep the forum informed. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Good Luck VA, would be interested in feedback as my conti's will be due for replacement soon.

You must have covered some miles to be replacing already. Shocked

My voter was for them in the recent poll. heard real good things about performance and life. 20k-25000miles

Just had fiited 2 new general grabber AT2 to front as split sidewalls due to the shale and rock in Wales. Had only done 14,000 miles but still much tread left, reckon good for 30,000 at least. had 35,000 miles on disco 2 and still good before selling.

Sure Defenders come with an option of General tires that have good reports too.

Only 12k miles but I damaged one front and had a screw in a rear one. Changed these for the two new ones. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
