Kind of agree with the drivers comments, bit of a numpty really, however what is not so clear if this land belongeds to the farmer how did he get done on private land?

The satnav sent him up a bridle path apparently, but not sure any satnavs I've ever had have included bridal paths... Confused

Either way, the guy was an idiot but I'm surprised they've thrown the book at him to be honest Rolling Eyes

Driving without due care and attention is a bit of a catch all charge, a bit like drunk and disorderly - you have had a drink and not doing what Mr PC tells you to. You're nicked. Not that I've ever been nicked for it. Usually much worse. Whistle

Anyways, the charge could have been related to leaving the public road onto unsuitable private road. Typical sensationalist tabloid reporting, just the sensationalist bit and none of the actual detail for intelligent types like us.

Still, he was a bit of a plank! Laughing

Jeez I only used to to do 2400 in a week of 6 days in a lorry running abroad and that was when the limiters were non existant!!! Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

Given that equates to 1/4million miles a year, it must be a typo - 500 miles a week more like Rolling Eyes
