Funny enough I didn't get any official information yet although my car should be one of the relevant ones. Nice to know they really do care and hurry since it is a break issue... Well still no news on the Euro3 compliant modifications, the vehicle is in for new bushes and ball joints tomorrow, so it will have to go back again some other time for the formal fix to the brake issue, when LR decides to issue it that is Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

BKHK, i have had repairs done in January when the Rotors where changed by the dealer for this exact problem, and the vehicle is in the manufacturing date range, just no Recall notice as yet for the Euro3 compliant engines so the dealer cannot do anything at this point of time... nice to see LR caring about its customers health and safety Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Schmoogs from our local market perspective that recall is for Euro4 compliant engines, not Euro3, however after its regular visit to the dealers today for new under carriage parts, the dealer told me they are just about there with the Euro3 compliant recall.. apparently there is a slight change to one of the hoses that's used in the Euro 4 modification... A number of Euro 4's were off the road for a protracted time in OZ due to a lack of parts, some dealers not releasing the vehicles if they came in for service and other work until the mod was done, perhaps they wish to avoid this by building up a reasonable level of parts first Cheers Another Pommie Bar Steward down under MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre |

Yep, looks this is the case as alluded to previously: 50,000 approx affected but seems most of them are D3s. Letters will go out from 28/9 and will be sent in VIN order, but not all cars will actually require the recall work to be undertaken. Dealers will be informed of recall details on the same day. 2009 Outstanding Contribution Award - Joint Runner Up 2009 'Tech-Head Of The Year' Award - Runner Up Like it here? I have just had a call from the stealer regarding this problem, PLUS a fuel pump recall as well. Does anyone know about the fuel pump issue and does either of these issues require firmware downloads to the ECU. I just want to protect my remap.
